RJ MOLLIGAN, ESQ., M.A.

  

  • RJ (“Rene Juliette”) Molligan is a trial lawyer with 30 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. She is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is a certified to practice law in all California State and District Courts. 
  • She is currently the senior trial lawyer at the Razi Law Group, APLC, located in Beverly Hills, CA
  • RJ is an approved mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court as well as the California Association of Realtors. 
  • RJ has extensive litigation experience in all areas of civil law, and has handled cases relating to real estate, personal injury, general  negligence, trust and estate issues, employment, legal and medical malpractice, contract, and family law. 
  • RJ was Co-president of the LGBT Bar association in 2009 and 2011 and was on national television in connection with her advocacy for LGBT civil rights. In 2012, RJ received the “Alumnus of the Year Award” from Loyola Law School’s Outlaw organization. 
  • RJ has published several peer-reviewed articles directly relevant to civil litigation practice and is a frequent guest lecturer for various California Bar and psychotherapy associations on a variety of legal issues including mediation, evidence, apology and forgiveness, litigation strategies, bias, discrimination, substance abuse and mental illness in the legal profession.   
  • In 2012, RJ received a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and graduated with honors. RJ continued her post graduate studies at USM with an additional 1-year concentration in Consciousness, Health and Healing where she focused on the connection between chronic anger and its impact on one's mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. 
  • In 2012, RJ launched Peacemakers, LLC which is a pre-litigation conflict resolution service ideally suited for those who wish to avoid time consuming and expensive litigation and its emotional toll.
  • Peacemakers provides a safe environment that encourages open communication, understanding and accountability in resolving the legal conflict. This strictly confidential environment often leads to accountability, apology and forgiveness.
